Office & Warehouse Design & Fit Out for Good Energy HQ

Our team has over 30 years of experience as office fit out specialists. On this occasion, we took on the roles of both principal designer and contractor. We were responsible for transforming the empty warehouse shell into a dual-purpose headquarters. Our in-house team managed everything. They handled the design, compliance, construction, and finishing. This ensured the facility fulfilled Good Energy’s operational needs and sustainability targets.

The works delivered included:

• The ground floor was transformed into a fully functional warehouse and logistics hub. It has a reception and service counter. There is secure storage for solar panels, along with packing and distribution areas. A trade counter and dedicated workshops are also available. Staff can also utilise facilities such as a canteen, locker rooms, and showers.
• The first floor is designed as a modern office. It includes open-plan layouts for better collaboration. Private meeting rooms, made with acoustic glass, ensure confidentiality. Breakout areas with tea points also improve staff wellbeing.
• Energy efficiency was improved through the installation of air-source heat pumps. In fact, our team played a crucial role in helping Good Energy secure grant funding to reduce costs. Solar panels were installed on the roof to spell out the company’s name, highlighting their dedication to the environment.
• Compliance was ensured through the delivery of all works in line with building regulations and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. We planned regular visits by external health and safety consultants to review standards across the project.
• We coordinated multiple contractors, including decorators, floor layers, glazers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and contractors for mechanical and electrical work. It also covered furniture suppliers and signage specialists. This teamwork ensured that every element met the highest standard.

This approach allowed Good Energy to save time, as our team held full responsibility for design decisions and delivery. Proposal work began in October 2024, and the contract was awarded in January 2025. Construction started in April, and the work on Good Energy’s HQ was completed in July.
