Based in Christchurch, Dorset, 4Com has been successfully providing quality communication services to the UK’s SME market since 1999.
The ‘godfather’ of fit outs, 4Com challenged us with transforming their new 8-storey, 80,000 sq feet office block into a striking environment that would attract new staff while appealing to their existing employees.
Implementation
To create the stunning office environment, our team installed Komfort light oak veneer full height solid core door modules, wood effect stain resistant floor finishes, durable carpet tiles in complementary colours as well as stairwell finishes and bespoke furniture. To separate working areas, we installed both acoustic solid partitions for more private spaces while glass partitions, complete with vinyl images and manifestations helped maximise natural light. A fully accessible raised computer flooring with data and power outlets was also fitted and the existing suspended ceilings were given acoustics treatments to minimise sound transfer.
Special Requirements
It was important that we work closely with the client to plan, install and provide achievable design concepts, which we achieved both within budget and on time.
