Office Fit-Out and Mezzanine Flooring Ringwood Back

Client: Comax UK Limited
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

Client

Comax UK Limited is one of the largest wholesalers in the South of England, who specialise in disposables, glassware, crockery, hygiene and janitorial products for the commercial hospitality sector. Established in 1992, the client wanted to transform their new office headquarters along with their warehouse in Ringwood, to provide a modern innovative space for employees and clients alike.

The client requested that the office headquarters would be practical with high-quality furnishings. Stylish integrated fluorescent lighting is important to keep the office brightly lit in all areas, this is to keep employee concentration levels high throughout the boardrooms and open plan offices.

Project summary

Comax moved into the building in April 2017, but decided they wanted their office headquarters and on-site warehouse to look more contemporary so approached us for an extensive office fit-out, mezzanine flooring and multi-tiered structures.

Implementation

The Jade Aden designers transformed the main boardrooms with new suspended ceilings, carpet flooring, technology, table and office swivel chairs. We worked with KC Carpets and Flooring who supplied the woven carpet flooring, that matches perfectly with the room decor and professional environment. They provided a lighter version of the woven carpet type for the Open plan office space, that keeps the room bright. The Open plan office now has new wooden desks, desktop computers, and suspended ceilings, together the space looks more energetic and sociable for Comax employees.

We installed new staircases and railings to the building that have the highest specification of safety, this was important to our team and client. The railings have a dark wood effect with durable metal fixtures.

The warehouse is where Comax stores their disposable, glassware, crockery, hygiene and janitorial products. The client needs to have more usable space that doesn’t take up much room, so our team recommended multi-tiered structures and mezzanine flooring. The multi-tiered structures are bright orange to minimise the risk of accidents in for employees using machinery and are built on top of each other to take advantage of the warehouse’s high ceilings. The mezzanine flooring provides a new functional space to hold more stock above ground, this is useful for the client has wouldn't have enough storage space for their business with just the tiered-structures.
