Mezzanine Floor Slough

The client is a London based film production company who has requested Jade Aden Interiors to provide a quote for a mezzanine platform. The mezzanine was built on their film set located at Pinewood Studios, Slough.
After our team surveyed the premises, we designed a 6-metre-long mezzanine floor that was 2-metre deep and included a finished floor level of 2.5 metres. In addition, we constructed a 30 x 50 mm decking made of open mesh grid, and attached a staircase with handrails.
Implementation
We sat down with our client to discuss his vision and intention of use for the requested mezzanine floor. The production of the new level began 5 days after the order was received and all the drawings/sketches were approved.
Given the relatively limited size of the requested mezzanine floor, it was not a simple and straightforward task. The biggest challenge entailed performing the correct measurements and trimming down the large mesh grid to the right shape and size. Nevertheless, the installation was completed on time, in this case meaning 9 working days following the instructions to proceed.
Special Requirements
The project included several special requirements, the most important one being that the mezzanine must include a special floor fixing capable of retaining the necessary rigidity on a temporary film set.
