As specialist family and personal lawyers, it was imperative to create a space within their office where clients could visit and confide in their expert team in confidence.
Secluded Acoustic Meeting Area Inside An Existing Office Space
Privacy and confidentiality are the keystones of the relationship between solicitor and client, so an open-plan office, even if quite small, can prove inconvenient at times. Steele Raymond were aware of the importance of creating a dedicated, secluded space for delicate and discreet client conferences and meetings, so they called in our design experts at Jade Aden Interiors to solve the problem.
The Challenge
With space being at a premium, our team were tasked with creating a soundproofed space that, although compact, would be light and airy enough for a small group of people to feel comfortable having a private conversation.
The Solution
Jade Aden Interiors designed and installed a full floor-to-ceiling double-glazed, angled partition to convert the corner of their open-plan office into a modern office pod. The use of partial glass frosting added additional privacy to the acoustic properties of the installation, and a light oak veneered lockable door complemented the existing decor of the office.
Our team were able to maximise the limited space available with custom, made to measure partitions that were designed to fit the sloped space and create an inviting area that was pleasantly flooded with natural daylight.
